Our favorite parks
Contrary to popular belief, New York has a lot of green space. There are tons of places to let your pup run, play, and lounge off leash.
Here are just some of the best:
- The dog run at Pier 26 (Tribeca)
- Off leash hours (6:00 am - 9:00 am) in Central Park
- The Tompkins Square Dog Run (East Village)
- Jemmy’s Dog Run at Madison Square Park (Flatiron)
- The dog beach in Prospect Park (Brooklyn)
If you really want to gallivant across the city like a local, you’re going to need some essentials. We’ve compiled our top picks for city pups here.
